La Jolla Shores

As the locals call it...  "The Shores" is all about family.

Avenida Del La Playa is main street for world class restaurants, local business’ and specialty shops.  

The Shores Beach is one of the safest beaches in La Jolla.  You will see scuba divers leaving from the Kellogg Park every Saturday as a very flat beach perfect for swimming, surging kayaking or just having a bar-b-que on the grass.  La Jolla Shores is the only beachfront boat launch within the city limits of San Diego.

La Jolla Shores is the home of the world renown La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.  In the early 1900’s the Shores was subdivided and developed into mostly custom home sites.

Scripps Institute of Oceanography’s Pier is a landmark at the shores.
