Bird Rock

Divers and surfers will tell you the name came from the large rock offshore which has become the resting spot for hundreds of birds which that its now white.  This is a wonderful location which is close to restaurants and shopping.

La Jolla Boulevard is the main access to Bird Rock.  As you can see on the map, Bird Rock as wonderful parks, La Jolla Hermosa Park and Calumet Park.
